Every Life is
a life story.
A story of growing through life’s challenges, discovering what connects us, and learning to cherish every life.
I stand for a world wherein we all live in peace: people, animals, and nature.
We all want to be happy and we are much more alike than we are different.

Every Life began with a girl just like you
In her twenties, Marloes moved to the United States to study while continuing her international work. Meeting people from different cultures and backgrounds strengthened her belief that understanding, empathy, and respect for all living beings should be part of every child's education. She dreamed of a program that would spark curiosity, deepen connections, foster growth and healing through life’s challenges, and inspire young people to shape a kinder world.
Today, that vision has grown into Every Life, offering more than 700 science-based lessons for children and young people aged 3 to 21, alongside a program for adults. Every Life brings together emotional well-being, cultural understanding, animals, nature, and the value of every life. Schools can integrate them through themed weeks or extracurricular learning, tailored to their communities. Weekend schools are also being developed.
Through international exchanges, children share stories and drawings with peers around the world, learning from different perspectives and discovering what connects them.
At its heart, Every Life reflects a belief that has guided Marloes since childhood: every life matters, and we are much more alike than different.
Growing up on a farm in a small village in the Netherlands, Marloes van de Goor spent her childhood surrounded by animals.
Caring for them every day, she discovered that each animal had a unique personality and that every life has value, no matter how small. That early understanding shaped her path.
She founded her first nonprofit dedicated to protecting animals and later became director of an animal welfare organization, traveling internationally to research and advise on the relationships between people, animals, and their environment.
While living in the Middle East, Marloes experienced war for the first time. Throughout her travels, she witnessed the consequences of conflict, poverty, and disease for both people and animals. Yet she also encountered extraordinary kindness, generosity, and the strength of communities coming together in difficult circumstances.
These contrasting experiences changed how she saw the world. They revealed not only how deeply our lives are connected, but also how much we can learn from one another.
Under fire, she began writing the first lines of what would become Every Life.
